LMYC is sad to report the death of former LMYC member Bill Houghton on April 3.  Bill was an avid Snipe sailor with his wife, Abby, as crew, for many years.  He was 84 years old and recently moved to Bristol Glen.  There is a tribute to him at the following website:

The race was conducted by the Sunfish Fleet Chair Shirley Miller.  The Miners were the only boat to cross the line before the race had to be abandoned. Consolation prizes for effort were awarded to John Trela (2nd place) and Alex Fox (3rd place).

The post-race Awards Party was graciously hosted by the Miners at their home. Thank you to Commodore Gail and Skipper Rich.

Thanks also to Shirley for making the unique tote bag awards.
