Welcome to the
Lake Mohawk Yacht Club! The Lake Mohawk Yacht Club welcomes Lake Mohawk Country Club members interested in sailing and promotes good sailing, racing and camaraderie on the lake. The LMYC runs races on Sundays at 1:00pm and at 3:00pm from May through October. During the season, the LMYC sponsors three regattas open to any class of sailboat. The sailing is always exciting, and the social get-togethers with old and new friends are never dull. The Lake Mohawk Yacht Club is fortunate enough to be able to sponsor a Junior Sailing Program. Interested members give of their time and the LMYC has boats to teach sons, daughters and new friends the techniques of basic sailing, skippering, crewing and racing, and to run races for them. There are many ways to get involved with the club. On-shore activities also take an important role in our schedule, both in and out of the sailing season. Meetings to talk sailing and plan future events, family picnics and awards dinners are examples of several types of events that do take place. Anyone who likes sailing and people will enjoy the Lake Mohawk Yacht Club. The entire family can participate in the multiple activities on a year-round basis. Sailing is a fabulous sport, and Lake Mohawk sailors are outstanding people to know and with whom to work and sail. Have questions or need information?
